The opening show for New Zealand Fashion Week was the lovable label Ingrid Starnes who’s designs have been described as having a vintage-feel with modern shapes and a focus on the female silouette. Tailored jackets, matching pants and coats in hues of mustard yellow, cobalt blue and rich reds added to the colour blocking trend though the bulkier outerwear and cute leather pumps made it perfect for winter weather. A little bit vintage inspired, evident in such key pieces – my favourite from the show being the cute bodice boob tube and matching high waisted underpants and the inclusion of fur stoles added an element of class and elegance to the collection.
Ingrid Starnes did not dissapoint and definitely will be one to watch!
