Gary Bigeni‘s SS12/13 collection aptly named ‘Fractured Appearance‘ was comprised of orange, tourquoise, creams and a rich deep sea blue where block colours combined with sharp tailoring and delicate draping (which Bigeni is known for) contrasted with geometric prints evidently conveyed the idea of “the juxtaposition between the strong, confident façade people (symbolised through block colouring and use of knits and pops of leather) project versus an unexpectedly soft and fragile interior (draping and soft fabrics such as silks and jersey)”.
My favourite looks included his sharp tailored pants and jacket paired with killer leather heels (image below) as well as his delicate silk skirts both looks showcasing why Bigeni truly is the master at masculine and feminine looks while complimenting the female form.
