Blood Milk. The name just brings a chill down my spine. With a tagline of ‘supernatural jewels for surrealist darlings‘ – god. It seriously makes me so happy that there are like minded people in the world creating the exact pieces I desire and find aesthetically pleasing! I think I would literally fall over and die with awe if I went into her Blood Milk Studio – it is decorated with old, herb jars, taxidermy animals and skeletons, beautiful artworks and other curiosities all around.
I had the pleasure of seeing some of Blood Milk jewellery in person when I visited Loved to Death on Haight Street in San Francisco a few months ago and I must say, its still been on my mind.
The new Blood Milk campaign called The Conjurer is unlike any jewellery campaign I’ve seen before – ever so eerie, the collection campaign really highlights the essence of the label as well as successfully compliments the new range. Never have I seen a campaign quite like this, especially not for jewellery and I applaud Jl Schnabel for being so creative in both her designs and the creative direction of the campaign!
