On Wednesday night, I had the pleasure of viewing legendary Diane von Furstenberg‘s Spring 2013 Palazzo collection showcased in the stunning Westfield sky lobby.  Known for the classic wrap dress and signature prints which has become synonomous with her label, Diane began from humble beginning’s arriving in New York City (the city where dreams are made of)  in 1970 with only a suitcase filled with 12 jersey dresses.  Having been invited to and been able to be in the prescence of someone so remarkable and talented was awe inspiring.
And to see Diane walk the runway after the final walk, being genuinely gratified for our attendance and support really is remarkable – she truly is as humble, kind and all round amazing as she appears!Palazzo Spring 2013 didn’t disappoint at all – a lovely bright colour palette (my favourites include the all enbellished mint ensemble and the amazing accessories in this collection!), esquisite tailoring and sensual drapery, graphic prints and long maxi dresses complete with stacked platform creeper like shoes and amazingly killer accessories.  Diane’s design philosophy is to “empower women (and) make them feel confident” and that’s exactly what she’s managed to achieve since her namesake label’s inception from it’s very first wrap dress! Thanks to NAC Group for the invitation and thank you Diane for being such an inspiration!

Below is my first video (that I’m 100% satisfied with) so please enjoy, let me know what you think and subscribe to my Youtube channel for more runway shows and sneak peak videos.
