New Zealand Fashion Week  2013 Day 1: Coop by Trelise Cooper
Without a doubt one of my favourite shows for Day 1 of NZFW, Trelise Cooper’s diffusion line Coop is everything I want in my life – pretty pinks, pastels, metallics, pvc, prints and amazingly sharp detailing.  A totally different direction since last year’s Coop nzfw show – it really feels like Trelise has stepped it up to really market her diffusion label to Gen Y crowd (my sources say this is probably due to a new in house designer who has stepped in to head this collection and my doesn’t she do an amazing job!).

Lush soft mohair jumpers with delicate beading detailing, grungey pvc skirts paired with soft pastel pink faux fur made a cute overall look that I would definitely rock while more preppy looks with structured tailoring made for a sharp yet clean effortless chic look for any Coop fan.  This Winter ’14 collection was a perfect play on textures, colours and opposites resulting in an artful collision of colour, texture and form. This was one of my favourite shows and highlight of the week – congratulations Trelise!
