When I first received Le Petite Fleur in my inbox, I’m not going to lie – I was blown away.  Everything about this ethereal editorial ruffled my metaphorical feathers but in a good way.  The styling, the location, the amazing photography and minimal makeup placing focus on the intensity of the other forces at place.  Shot by Angela Rose Wood and styled by Olivera Jovanoska, Le Petite Fleur took inspiration from “the fleeting and fragile spring blooms” where “this season’s trend of soft, pretty pastels has provided girls a way to channel their inner Spring goddess without actually having to wear a busy floral print”.  Other main inspirations included Victoria Buckley’s “Garden Of Delight” and Australian designer Alannah Hill’s eternally colourful array of bright fun girly frocks that has become synonymous with her brand.

On another note: I’m also in the midst of organising my 23rd birthday party, so I’m on the lookout for sponsors and to secure a venue as well as an amazing cake maker (yes I’ll be requesting an amazing red velvet birthday cake for the occasion duh!).   I think I want a beautiful dress like the amazing Ted Baker Telago dress for my party… what do you think? Would it look good with my hair?

Anyway I hope you enjoy the editorial as I did, it’s an honour to be able to showcase La Petite Fleur exclusively on Little Black Book.  Let me know what you think x
