Fantasy creature
As many of you might know, I have a slight obsession with all thing pearls; pink pearls, vintage pearls, Chanel pearls you name it. So when the new VALÉRE collection aptly titled Baroque Utopia popped into my inbox, I was in heaven! Having long time been a fan of VALÉRE, it was a delight to have a sneak peek at their new collection!
Designer Samantha Lowe imagined an elegant selection of jewellery items inspired by a summer spent in Europe where the purity of the aqua coloured seas of Croatia, the cliffs of Italy and the pearly sands of Spanish beaches, are the inspirations behind the use of textured materials and pearls.
In her recent collection, the designer incorporated rose quartz, amethyst, moonstone, freshwater pearls and citrine among other materials, in order to capture the colour of the sunset or the reflection of crystal clear waters. I can’t wait to see this collection in person and still haven’t yet decided which pieces (or just everything) need to be in my personal collection!
