It’s taken me some time and courage to break out from my standard monochromatic wardrobe (I guess I can call that my pre lilac years) and quite frankly, I have to thank my hair for providing me the inspiration and courage to experiment with florals, prints and warmer tones. I would have never thought of daring to wear head to toe colour pre lilac hair years, that’s for sure!
This super cute Alice McCall silk top and silk print skirt immediately caught my eye and I just knew it had to be mine. Alice McCall is known for her cute, flirty and super feminine aesthetic with embroidery and embellishments that’s become synonomous with her label and this outfit hails from her soon to be released AW13 collection titled The Imaginarium of Kitty Leroy (which can be viewed here). Expect pops of teal, purple and apricot with beading embellishments and embroidery while florals and bird motifs feature throughout the collection.
